Mykel Hawke, a combat veteran, has left an indelible mark on both military service and the world of survival. Enlisting in the U.S. Army in 1982, he served actively for 12 years, later continuing his service in the Reserves and Guard for an additional 12 years. Rising to the rank of Captain in the 1st Special Forces Command (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, he held three Enlisted, Special Forces Military Occupational Skills (MOS) - Special Forces Medic (18D), Special Forces Communicator (18E), and Special Forces Intelligence Operations (18F). Apart from his military achievements, Mykel is a highly educated individual, holding a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of New York and a Master of Science degree in Family Counseling from the University of California. Complementing his linguistic prowess, he was rated in seven languages during his Army career, documented in his published language book, "The Quick and Dirty Guide to Learning Languages Fast" - Mykel Hawke is not just a military professional but also a prolific author, contributing to numerous books and penning works like "Hawke's Green Beret Survival Manual" and "Family Survival Guide." His diverse expertise extends to television, where he has appeared in over 50 shows, showcasing his survival skills and combat knowledge. In his personal life, Mykel married Ruth England in 2005, and they currently reside in Miami, Florida, with their son. Beyond his public life, Hawke's commitment to sharing knowledge is evident in his establishment of a combat medic school in Azerbaijan, showcasing his dedication to both education and survival.
